Graham Sponsors Continuing Ed Course on Hurricane-Resistant Windows and Doors
June 14, 2017
A new AIA accredited continuing education course on hurricane-resistant windows and doors is now available online, courtesy of Graham Architectural Products.
The Graham-sponsored course, titled “Shelter from the Storm,” originally appeared in Architectural Record’s May, 2017 issue.
The course does a thorough job of explaining the stringent standards that hurricane-resistant windows and doors must satisfy, and discusses the window components necessary to meet hurricane safety requirements.
In addition to identifying regions across the United States where hurricane-resistant products are required, the course explains how to specify these products and incorporate special design and aesthetics into them.
Graham is an enthusiastic supporter of continuing education. To learn more about the selection of AIA-accredited courses offered by Graham, click here.
